New delhi  :03/03/2014: Abdus Shamim(OBB/S.C):  Scam in successive mode detected in Indian army particularly in connection of the department of Defense in taking in kick backs-bribery. Factually, a global manufacturing firm namely Rolls-royce in supply of jet engine for fighter jets is alleged to have managed the mechanism of hijacking military contacts from 2007 – 2011in a deal worth over Rs 10,000 crores . Taking serious exception, Defense Minister Ak antony requested CBI probe into allegations against the scam. The Rolls –Royce Company has supplied jet engine for fighter jets, which being manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (H.A.L) for Indian Air Force.

The allegation is in the form of a letter revealed by HAL that claims bribe paid to officials in HAL and the other department to bag contracts. Before this the defense minister cancelled the deal on 1^st of this year of AgustaWestland Copper and taken a stern action against the firm.
