New Delhi, 05.03.14: Asraf Al Gazi (OBB/S.C): Lok Sabha schedule announced today: The Schedule for Lok Sabha Polls 2014 was announced today by the Election Commission. The recommended dates are from April 07 to May 12 and the polling is ensured to be held in nine phases. Counting of vote will be held on May 16.
General Elections phase-wise schedule:
Phase 1: April 7 in 2 states.
Phase 2: April 9 in 5 states.
Phase 3: April 10 in 14 states.
Phase 4: April 12 in 3 states.
Phase 5: April 17 in 13 states.
Phase 6: April 24 in 12 states.
Phase 7: April 30 in 9 states.
Phase 8: May 7 in 7 states.
Phase 9: May 12 in 3 states.
General Elections state-wise schedule: 
Andhra Pradesh (40 constituencies): on April 30 for 17 seats and May 7 for 25 seats. 
Arunachal Pradesh (2 constituencies): on April 9.
Assam (14 constituencies): on April 7 for 5 seats, April 12 for 3 seats, and April 24 for 6 seats.
Bihar (40 constituencies): on April for 10 (6), April 17 for 7 seats, April  24 for 7 seats, April 30 for 7seats and May 7 for 7seats, May 12 for 6 seats.
Chhattisgarh (11 constituencies): on April 10 for 1 seat, April 17 for 3 seats, April 24 for 7 seats.
