Nirbhaya Case in Delhi gang rape in a running bus has left the intellectuals and the scientist of the country to frame out an escape corridor of the women from the lustful eyes of the criminals and that now culminate in devising a handy self protection revolver which has been manufactured with proper design for the usefulness of the objective by the Ordnance Factory ,Kanpur .

India’s first light-weight revolver specially designed for women,   weighing 500 grams. Production is already underway in the Indian Ordnance Factory belonging to India’s defense ministry in Kanpur in central India.

The handy 0.32 bore revolver is made of the lighter titanium alloy, has a cylinder which can be easily flicked open with a button to insert bullets and can be snapped back shut just as effortlessly. The trigger pull is so lighter that can be easy to handle and quite comfortable in lady's purse.

the price for such revolver is fixed at Rs 1,22,360/- beyond the reach of a women who usually faces the untoward happenings every while walking on the street .On our survey ,people suggest ,like C.M.Akhilesh Yadav of U.P and C.m.Naveen Patnaik of Odisha distributing computers for building good nation ahead ,similarly such revolver could also be distributed among at least young girls or working ladies either free of cost or at government's subsidized rate.
