Pop singer Sona Mohapatra in her land

OBB:sona Pop singer Sona Mohapatra in her land :Known for her rock energy, eclectic style and electrifying live performances, Sona Mohapatra is one of the few talented Indian Pop singers now in our country. Her home town is Katak, Odisha, & she is a B.Tech graduate from College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar and has done her MBA from Symbiosis, Pune. Before starting her musical journey, she was working as a brand manager in Marico. But as she was a trained Hindustani Classical singer she didn't stay away from music for so long. Time came and she rose to fame with just a jingle for TATA Salt campaign- Kal Ka Bharat and a refreshing Close Up ad Paas Aao Na song which was hugely popular among viewers. Sona is married to Bollywood music director-composer, Ram Sampath, a household name after his innovative Delhi Belly soundtrack for Aamir Khan Productions. She has sung many songs composed by her husband, Ram, for many TV commercials and live shows in India and abroad. She lent her voice for Aamir Khan's path breaking TV show "Satyamev Jayate"- Mujhe Kya Bechega Rupaiya, which was a huge hit among common people for her earthy texture of voice. she is best fit for stage or live shows but still she never loses a chance to sing for Bollywood films. Bedardi Raja, I love u like I hate u in Delhi Belly, Ambrassiaya from Fukray are few of her chart busters so far. Sona Mohapatra is a rare combination of good looks and good voice.
