SPECIAL C.L. FOR CMC and BARIPADA MUNICIPALITY ELECTION

Bhubaneswar, 03/02/2014:State Election Commissioner has informed that the General Election to Cuttack  Municipal Corporation and Baripada Municipality will be held on 06/02/2014. In view of this, Government have decided that, the Government Employees who desire to exercise their franchise at place away from their headquarters on the date of poll will be allowed Special Casual Leave for a maximum period of 3(three) days i.e. on the day preceding poll, one day after poll & on the date of poll. The leave to be granted would be treated as Special Casual Leave in addition to normal Casual Leave admissible to them during the calendar year 2014. Further the employees working in Government Undertaking / Boards / Corporations / Apex Bodies etc. would be granted paid holiday on the date of poll i.e. on 06.02.2014.
