Every year, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation is cleaning or repairing the drains. City dwellers have their recurring threat from proper sanitation and apathetic treatment of CMC. Especially mobility is becoming difficult; the urgent need is to adopt a zero tolerance attitude towards CMC, but city dwellers question is surprise.

Point to be noted that there has been a Recurring Mandamus Court constituted in the High Court of Orissa; and situation witnessed, at times, series of criminal cases initiated against the officials and the contractors for their apathetic nature in construction of the drainage and cleaning of the garbage. But this despite the city of Cuttack has never been saved from the demonic and erratic mismanagement of CMC. Most parts of the city, as reported, appears to be a kind of hell for the inhabitant-city dwellers.
Murmuring voice comes, let’s see how the new body of CMC under the leadership of BJD works.
